I heard it
The sound of a snowflake softly falling
A 1000 lb snowflake
Twenty feet across
                             Rushing at me
Rushing Through the night sky
With the sound of a runaway freight train
The snow reflecting the moonlight like a bright falling star
With my name on it
Headed for me
Thoughts of a cold, white, squashed future loomed nearer
I bravely stood my ground
Too scared to run
I pulled on my gloves
Put up the hood on my coat
Accepted my fate
Looking up, watching it come closer
Then, at the last minute
Words flashed across the snowball
Deposit another quarter to continue
I walked away laughing
GOD has a marvelous sense of humor
